Q: What is difference between G ,D,F series ?

The D5 is primarily a cleaner with a bit of lubricant included. The F5 is the opposite...it has some cleaning properties but is primarily a lubricant. They both work extremely well. If you have scratchy audio component switches, this will normally clear these issue up immediately. I use this on electrical switches on motorcycles as well as all my audio equipment. I have never used the G.

Q: Which deoxit product should be used to spray the direction switch on a ceiling fan?

According to the label, I would use the D5. It says "Dissolves corrosion, improves connection and protects surfaces. It also says, "flushing action, safe on plastics". I used the DeoxIt F5 on the potentiometers on my guitar amplifier and cleaned them up and they are 100% perfect. Great products. There is a lot of valuable information on the can labels.

If by Gas you mean propellant, then the answer is YES

Q: Need opinions: seller too. whats best for vintage 1970's receivers, for pots, switches, rca ports? d5+fader lube? d5+deoxit gold? some other combo?

I have always used the Deoxit D5 for rotating type pots. As far as I know the fader lube is used only for slider type pots.
