Q: Is there a trick to making these work? I have two of them and of course bought them over a month ago and tonight is trick or treat and neither work?

There is no trick. They simply do not work. The gloves do. I recently purchased it and it does not work. My son’s classmate also purchased it and the mask does not work either. The reviews on this product are dubious.

For batteries some vibration may result in that noise because of magnetic changes.typically there’s nothing to worry about when this happens
