I ordered one of these for myself . It telescopes , so it's great for someone w shoulder injury . Later, I gave out 6 more as "stocking stuffers" . All well received . It's easy to use, it folds up to a small size , and is not plastic . I would recommend it

Update: I have had these for 9 months and they are all still intact and working perfectly. Anyone who broke these must have been trying to scratch way to hard. don't let them dissuade from purchasing. These are the greatest. They are compact and handy. I have one in my home office, work office and by my recliner. I can't tell you how often I use them.I read many reviews and kept worrying about the strength of the telescoping arm and its longevity. After owning three of these I can say that they are plenty sturdy, and none of them have broken. Like many things, it should be obvious how much pressure you can put on an item. I'm sure if you lean into it the wrong way or sit on it, it may give way. I just pull it out to a good length and get to scratching and never feel like it is under duress. Like I said, I still have all three and they are all in perfect working order. For the price, it is wonderful to have one in the living room, one in the bedroom, and the other at the office.

I just received mine yesterday and so far I have only tried one out of the 3. Its a well made back scratcher but I have to be honest here with anyone reading this. The heavy duty Wooden Back Scratchers I use to buy and still have on hand from the Dollar Store work much better and I can easily sharpen them if they become dull after a few years. Seeing these advertised on Amazon I thought why not give it a try especially since they are extendable to make them much longer. They are probably more suited for reaching up to pull in items much to high to reach towards you like a box of Cereal. As I mentioned earlier this seems well made but as far as I am concerned it doesn't scratch my back that well. You would think that they would being they are metal blades that are painted but they are on the dull side and don't do a very good job. Just being honest here with my thoughts. For the money they are still worth buying at least for the REACH capabilities.

I brought the back scratcher for my mom it is very small in width but length is pretty good I thought it was going to be bigger but great for traveling and purse size depending on the size

Cuz I'm dry skin, I needed portable and flexible scratcher for many areas of my body, especially at winter night . I have shopped for scratches like these for years and never found suitable and comfortable one. I told my son my issue, he suggested me to shop on amazon. I was amazed to find so many!! I chose The these back scratchers,When it came, I was really amazed at how small it is and how long it extends. I can put the three where I want. Now when I need to scratch, I won't have to bother my husband. I can scatch the itchy area without others' help .

I've had only positive experience so far with this product. Its adjustability helps you get to most of places on your back. The prongs or tines are blunted enough not to tear the skin as long as used properly and not forcefully. If only my shoulders were as flexible as they once . I'd only have use this back scratcher rarely.

Good value and works very well. I enjoy having it. It is small and the convience of the telescoping handle is wonderful. Gave one to my brother in law and he tried it out and thought it was good also.

Does exactly what I needed it to. Good value.Ignore negative reviews this will do the job.No idea why some people say it is easy to break.It would take deliberate effort to snap the end off.Don't believe it would be possible to break just through clumsiness!

Arrived withing time limit. As I am getting older I find it harder to scratch that back itch. This is great as it does the trick. Bonus:- it is telescopic and I will be able to take it on holiday with me.
