Mylar is mylar. It's like tinfoil crossed with shrink wrap.
What more is there to know. It's a thin HIGHLY REFLECTIVE FILM. If you want a mirror, you could achieve that with this film (with 95.7% clarity), but you have to be slightly better at working with it than me, because for me, just getting it decently flat is good enough. I use it to reflect HOT SUN away from my southern windows. I'm sure it keeps 20° out every day too.

Great value, but thin- which it is supposed to be.
This is a great value for the money. I didn't realize how much thin it was however. I should have realized it wouldn't block light, but the solution was just spray adhesive and foam board from the dollar store. I have also used adhesive with cardboard, but the foam board doesn't absorb water. I would buy this again, I have so much of it I have made mirror walls and a mini hall of mirrors for the grandkids to play with! Good stuff, but if you are looking for something heavier, look at some of the diamond sheets and rolls from various suppliers here on Amazon. But very happy for the $$!

Got this for the telescope for day use. Works well but need to double it, good thing it comes in a 25' roll! So I took some and used it on my shop windows.... I need to use the lights it's so dark! I did unroll 3/4 of it and it was as it should be, so that's also a plus.

Good stuff good value.
I had no problem with it ripping. I was able to line the lower half of a 3x3 coat closet and have plenty left over. It appears to be a good product.

Looks good but is it dangerous?
This Mylar works fine for my intended use in photo shoots, except it comes with a toxic hazard warning that you shouldn’t touch it and if you do to immediately wash your hands. So no skin contact. Now I’m scared to use it.

Great quality product and packaging.
Packaging will make me a repeat customer. One of the first I've ordered that I can use 100% of, because I received it 100% undamaged from handling before me and handling after I received. Use what I need and return to carton it came in. No damage edges.

Arrived on time and is as described.
Getting it out of the container was difficult. The Mylar is of good quality and easy to use. I used a silver tape for adhesion.

Plan on having plenty of space to work
Easy to use didn’t realize how much one roll would cover plenty of extra to make more than one tent
