Well made. Color is not a deep black but it is perfect for me. Nice and soft. Fits well, comfortable. Love the zip pockets and the princess seaming. Considering another in a different color. They wash like a dream. Zipper smooth and sturdy. Great piece to have and for extra cold days easy to wear under a coat.

Great All-Purpose Vest
Just what I needed to replace my old “tried and true” fleece vest. The Nocturnal Blue is a bit deeper, nearly closer to Black than traditional Navy, but is clearly on the blue spectrum when held up to other things that are black. The medium is true to size (women’s 8/10) - and hits at mid-hip for me at nearly 5’4.” It even has a bit of stretch for comfort and movement. Two side zip pockets are roomy enough to hold a phone & also has 2 inside slip pockets for other slim/small items. Very cozy without being bulky. As usual, Columbia comes through with quality and function!

Nice but buy a size larger
I love these vests but they do run small. The next size up costs more than 2 times the price so it’s returned

Great fit/color is off
I love the fit, so I will keep the vest. I am a curvy woman, so it's hard to find a good fit around the middle/abdomen. This vest is near perfect for me. It's soft and the fabric is thick enough. The one downside is the color. It is listed as "black," but it's really a dark gray. Dealbreaker, no, but it may bother some customers.

At first i was worried if it's oversize for me because of the model picture. But it actually fits my body and it doesn't look ugly at all. The black color looks beautiful and soft.

This Columbia vest is a nice fit for me. It’s great that there is this Petite size, a little bit shorter, just what I needed. I like the Charcoal Heather color too. It’s nice and soft, just warm enough

Beautiful fit and color on this vest!
Love the fit of this vest! I'm a size 12, 36" bust, 5'11", 150 lb, and I ordered a medium. It's not tight, but skims the body so it doesn't look bulky at all, and the length is great even for my long torso. It has great functional large pockets.I ordered the Dark Nocturnal color and it is just exactly what I wanted, a beautiful true navy. Love it!
