We ordered the sink and had it installed. It's beautiful. Until we noticed a blemish in it that left the cast iron showing through, in one spot. Amazon said to contact the manufacturer, or return it for credit (it was after the window). But they did not have replacements. So we'd have to pick something else, or order it elsewhere. We contacted Kohler and they sent us a full letter with the following language:As a leader in the plumbing industry, Kohler Co. strives to delight our customers with superior products and impeccable service. Without having the replacement. They will give us another 30 days to return it, although I can't get a new one anywhere else for less than twice the cost.So end story, buyer BEWARE buying a big expensive item like this if you need to claim a warranty on it after 30 days. Amazon's policy sucks in this instance and are not a good manufacturing partner with Kohler in my opinion.Overall we want this sink but can't get the customer service we would expect from Amazon. Kohler was very accommodating, but not Amazon.

We always wanted a farm sink and after shopping other brands the Kohler was worth the price, its made very well and the weight shows that. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for.

I himmed and I haaa'd a lot before finally buying this sink. It's expensive, but wow is it impressive once installed.First, it's heavy, about 130 lbs. You aren't moving it on your own. It came on a liftgate box truck from Amazon. I had it shipped to my work because I had a forklift I could use there. The delivery people were delighted that I did this.Install requires a bit of work. You must construct a frame out of 2x4's in the base cabinet this goes in after cutting the hole in the front of the cabinet for the apron. I went through three skill saw blades to get this cut (one was my fault because I tried cutting through a screw I did not know was there using the wood blade. After lots of foul language I was ready to slide this puppy in to place. A friend helped and we were able to heave it up without too much issue.A word of warning, the instructions have you installing the frame such that the sink sits a bit below the countertop level. The countertop installer is having me raise the sink some. We're talking 1/8" of an inch, but I wish I had known before hand.After that I was able to install a 1hp garbage disposer, which barely fit. The location of this in the back corner is great and lets you have very compact plumbing under the sink. To a degree it is almost too compact, but I am glad I have it nice and tight. I also fit a RO water filter and storage tank easily along with some other kitchen cleaning supplies.I find myself knocking on the front of the sink from time to time to hear the sound it makes. The size is great also, I am really liking the one giant tub aspect. I also purchased the wire frame that goes in the bottom, this is worth it as it keeps the enamel in better shape. Cleaning is easy with the Kohler cast iron cleaner. I've been using this for around two months so far and it cleans up to look like it is brand new every time.

What a gorgeous sink! My cabinet front was 10 inches high and the cardboard pattern was 8, so it was perfect. Took 5 minutes to carefully route the face and sink slides right in. It is quite heavy at about 150 pounds, so don't be a hero. Just get help with this and watch your fingers and toes. You may have to shim the sink up even after blocking in your supports. I am VERY happy with this sink.
