This top is AWESOME!! When I removed it from its packaging, the top had a nice heft to it and was finely machined and finished with no burs or imperfections. I really liked the knurling at the top of the stem, and although my first attempt to spin was not perfectly executed, the top spun for 3 minutes and 50 seconds - almost four full minutes. There was ZERO wobble after it stabilized and the top looked like a still photograph as it was standing upright on top of the counter just spinning away. Almost surreal. My second attempt had a much smoother release and the top spun for a mind-blowing 5 minutes and 10 seconds. This top is the real deal, not some cheap lightweight and poorly-machined piece of garbage. Very satisfying to set it spinning only to get distracted or preoccupied doing other things, and then after a few minutes remember that you set it into motion and look back to see it still going. Crazy physics.

This is a great top! Easy to get it to spin for five full minutes on our kitchen countertop. It will go for six full minutes on our glass top table.Fun to bet newcomers how long they think it can spin for!!

The media could not be loaded. I have acquired an inception top before but it oxidized since it was not stainless steel. I saw this which is an upgrade to the Inception design. It has a knurled handle. It has a silicone bead. The combination of the materials gives great balance and a longer spin time than the original Inception top without the bead.It is balanced, compact in size, optimal in weight, and quiet. Spin times are about 4 to 5 minutes with a perfect spin on a concave glass base.For the price it makes a great value for durability, design and the evolution of additions that make it better than the original.It is made in China.High quality value priced fun toy.

Let’s me meditate for 3 minutes but if you can spin it longer more power to you

I had looked at this thing a few times but after seeing Inception I wanted to grab one. I’m very fidgety and have a fidget cube and several other little doo dads so thought this would be a good addition. Very happy with this purchase. Spins for what seems like forever and the illusion that it isn’t spinning is pretty cool. Glad I got the small as it fits in my pocket perfectly.
