MotoBattMBTX9U Battery 12V 10.5A 160CCA Factory Activated Quadflex AGM Battery Replaces -YTX9-BS, YT12A-BS, YTZ12S, YTZ14S, ETX9

Arrived yesterday, took 7 days from Ohio to Northern California, immediately checked state of charge with a DVOM, 13.0 volts.Installed yesterday, 2007 Honda XR650L, the only real issue was the OEM Honda Positive (+) battery connector would not fit this battery correctly, the terminal is shorter, and the terminal screw hole is therefore placed lower, unfortunately I had to shave off about 1/8" to maybe 3/16" of material off of the bottom of the OEM connector. After that it fit fine.Cranks the bike over nicely, rated at ~25 more CCA than the Yuasa battery that I was replacing.Battery fit the OEM battery box nicely.Only came with 2 terminal screws and 2 (specifically designed) terminal screw nuts. I had thought there would be 4 considering that there are 4 terminals, (I think the description here actually says 4 screws), it's handy for connecting accessory lights etc. I have a Motobatt battery in my 2014 Triumph Tiger 800XC, and it came with all 4 terminals usable, as they have threaded inserts built into the battery case. (I believe that battery also came with 4 screws, but it's been a while so cannot verify that). But that is one of the reasons I chose the Motobatt so a little bit of a bummer there. (You can use your own screws and nuts, theirs are just more convenient, and they are actually fairly nice too).Have yet to ride with it but I believe it will work out well.

Great value and the fit and finish are fine. This MBTX9U came through in a pinch for my KTM 990 Adventure when I couldn't get any other battery delivered on short notice. The only issue is that the cold cranking amps (CCA) for this battery are too low for cold temperatures (close to freezing, 32* F), and starting is difficult or jumper cables are needed. Aside from that, no issues in warmer temps. I should have gotten the Motobatt MBTZ14S instead.

Battery arrived and was installed into a Honda generator where it fit perfectly into the battery compartment area. The generator started with no issues and the battery appeared to be fully charged.Thanks

I just bought this for my scooter so I can't comment on the longevity of the product. Other aspects of the transaction was great

Battery was dead I had to go out at getting a battery charger another inconvenience

I haven't installed the battery yet, but it looks like everything is in order.

Had no issues with installation and my motorcycle is now working great!
