I love the case I bought it for an invention prototype I will be taking to a very important meeting, unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll be able to take it. There are 7 clasps that hold the lid tight fine, but they drop down and prevent the lid opening without assistance from a third party or twisting the lid until it finally pops open. I’d look a complete fool at the meeting so I can’t use this design of box sorry.

After contacting the seller, who responded and was kind enough to send a new, unbroken case, I'm changing my rating. Thank YouThis camera case has never left the house and it's already broken. I tried reaching out to the seller, but have gotten no response. I've had a Pelican case for years and it's still going strong. Amazon is no longer carrying this case and it's easy to see why. Very Disappointed.

It came out broken itself, how it's gonna protect sensitive items inside. I had to return it within the same hour it was delivered. The foam inside wasn't what they showed in the photos. Very bad experience.

Purchased this case to store recovery equipment and tools for my Jeep Gladiator. Had it strapped to my cargo rack. Arrived on time in perfect condition. Advertised dimensions seem to be accurate within an 8th of an inch. It was filled to the top with "pluckable" foam so the user can customize it protect fragile equipment. Held all of my gear with some creative arranging (large tool kit, recovery strap, shackles, snatch blocks, etc.). Case is waterproof as advertised. It endured several summer thunderstorms with heavy rain...gear was bone dry. The comments about the latches are spot on. The latches don't hold themselves open, so you have to do some acrobatics to close the lid because the latches are in the way. I was able to figure it out, not the end of the world...just a little tedious. The lid deformed a little in direct sunlight, but it did not affect the seal. The lid returned to regular shape after it cooled off...not a big deal. I have not tried it, but it looks like the wheel/telescopic handle assembly can be removed.Overall, I'm pleased. Just know it's not the same quality/build as a more expensive competitor's case. It gets the job done.
