My honest review
Brought one last year n have had no problems with it, sounds are pretty sharp and the bass is pretty good for what it's worth.Battery last for a decent long time and the controls are simple.Just Brought another one to see how the paring future works, coming tomorrow so will up date.Update after using both for a week and so, yeah, 2 is worth it, sounds amazing inside and out side, just the halde on both is a bit aqwerd to carry around together unless u have a decent bag.Over all pretty good, the battery lasts all day and them sum. Bass pretty good, especially together for the size. Amapiano dose theses Speakers justest

W-KING D9 Bluetooth Speaker
I have recently brought the latest edition to W-KING Bluetooth speaker range, the D9.To note, I have also brought two of the previous W-KING models, the D8, which is a 50-watt max output unit. This was so I could pair the speakers. You can pair this latest D9 model with another D9, but cannot pair D8 and D9 units together. This model, the D9 is now upgraded to 60-watt max output. Both models are similar in weight, both are of a solid and sturdy build quality, which is reassuring for me. Both in black colour and the front grille design is on both models. The noticeable changes are firstly the handle, which as my pictures show is now solid plastic, instead of an adjustable fabric carrying strap. The strap would allow user to carry out and about, over their shoulder, now the user will have to hand held. It depends on how the user is going to use the Bluetooth speaker. The passive radiator/speaker is exposed at the back of the unit, which is a shame, and I would have preferred more protection, as it could get damaged. There’s an increase in battery life, reported to be now from 8000mAh rechargeable battery on the D8 unit, to now 12,000mAh rechargeable battery on the D9.The button control display is the same, with the option for sound boost for indoor and outdoor use.The D9 unit comes already charged, so its plug and play. Easy to Bluetooth and connect. Leads are also included for charging, and if user wants a wired connection instead of Bluetooth. Equally, D9 unit allows MP3 player or smartphone to charge. The D9 unit is now of a IPX6 waterproof construction, which means it is protected from powerful water jets, but does not mean you can place this unit in a swimming pool or prolonged raining.I have tested the sound against each other, and in my opinion the D8 still sounds too tinny, with not enough bass. The latest model, the D9 does have an increase in sound and power output, and a noticeable increase in that of bass, but it is by no means as much bass as I personally like, I am a bass beast. I just hope that further W-KING models in the future install better more bass responsive sub woofers.I could upload a sound video, but I find these of little use as the sound quality is dictated by the laptop speakers or smartphone speakers being used to view the video, and never get a true representation of the sound from a speaker.Would I recommend this D9 unit, the short answer yes, but would advise, do you homework first, ask yourself, what am I expecting this speaker to do, and how do I plan on using it for, and test it.For the price, its value is good, against other Bluetooth speakers, such as JBL or Bose, which obviously have a more richer, deeper bass, and overall sound.

Good quality but my one has some issues
Sounds great for what it is, has been working well but about 3 weeks ago I had to use the pinhole reset button on the back because it wouldnt turn off and froze up on me. Been fine since then so far in regard to freezing up but about 2 weeks ago found out that when you put your phone on top of the speaker unit(between the farmost left side of the power button and the play button the unit somtimes won't play properly, where everything works but no sound comes out of the speaker as if there is some kind of interference between the speaker and the phone in that particular area. Lastly I wanted to move the speaker unit so I could vaccume on the desktop and picked it up with both hands from the sides and found that the metal grill covering the speakers is not fixed to the unit in any way other than just pushed in as it had began to shake off and I'd felt it slide back in as I picked it up, under further investigation found its not glued on or fixed in place by any means and will come off with no effort at all. Audio wise it is pretty good and reasonably loud but can be a lot more louder as you can tell straight away that it has been restricted by 50% which can be sorted with a good booster as I have found. The bass is decent but could have been more deeper, heavier and also could do with more thump but for a bluetooth speaker it is quite good and for someone like me who can't help to keep turning the music up every 5 minutes and ending up at a very high volume and annoying the neighbours it makes a good compromise.....don't think it's worth the £80 they want because for that kind of money you would think that they would have MADE SURE that there were no issues with it and now I have a unit that I'm not sure how long it will last before it packs up for good and also left with all the aggravation of dealing with returns etc... that I have no time to get done right now!!!! I only gave it 4 stars for the sound quality and build quality which is quite good also but the technology inside I'm not so sure.

Loud enough, dodgy name?
Embarrassing name for anyone who fills the blanks in their mind. Like other devices only one device can be Bluetooth edelweis at a time, else new one won't link up. Plenty loud enough to play saxophone along to backings.

Very impressed
For the price, this speaker is banging. I've only had it a week so hopefully it lasts a long time but Im very impressed.
