Patriot Exhaust H1070 70" Chrome Side Exhaust Silver

I used these on a 65 El Camino, you will want the 70 inch set for that application, the 60 inch will dump the exhaust just behind the door and I wanted it just ahead of the rear wheel well.They are not as quiet as I was hoping but quiet enough to not be overly annoying or childish, I wanted a nice deep tone without resonance and these deliver that sound.The quality is pretty good except for some of the mounting hardware and scheme, I drilled out the self tapping holes that mount the heat shield and used 1/4 nuts and bolts instead, I also installed nut zerts into my frame to mount the angle brackets instead of using the big metal screws that ship with the kit; exhaust vibrates by nature so metal screws (while easy) will come loose if you drive the car much.You want a nut/bolt with locking capability mounting scheme or weld the brackets to the underside of the car if you plan on putting lots of miles on this exhaust system.That's about it, they look cool, can be installed at home if you are handy, cheaper than a full underneath exhaust system by a LONG ways and definitely draw attention since side pipes are much less common these days than they were in the 70's.

I order these side pipes they came with a little bend which I can fix but no hardware at all. I call patroit and reported the problem they was very curious and said we will ship the hardware. After 2 weeks I didnt received it. I sent a email too Beatriz V the person I was dealing with. Was told its on backorder and thats the answer I have been getting since that was 2 months ago .DO NOT BUY

They were delivered on time. The box a little damaged but side pipes were in good shape,and good quality
