Zodiac had manufacturing problem 2016-17. diaphragms tore in 1-2 mos. they sent free replacements. fixed by 7/2017. are these the corrected version??

Decided to order after reassurance from ePoolSupply that this is new manufacturer stock. Got package today. Label says "15-Dec-16." I am contacting Zodiac to see if this is pre or post their manufacturing defect fix. I would recommend holding off buying until I update.

We have to order these every few months- they tear at the point of the hard yellow part. The original one lasted over a year. Any suggestions?

Why is it that 1 costs $16.32 & a 2 pak is $41.41. Really? And I concur product doesn’t last, it tears or wears out on the clapper. Another case of ripping off the consumer!
