It works just fine, of course it fits in my Dell Latitude E6420. I have had no problems with it, the BIOS even detects it as a bootable drive, in case someone wants to use this to house your boot drive. It's nice since I can now have more storage, which has always been an issue since my only drive was 128gb.

Worked perfectly!
Used it to get rid of a faulty internal optical drive (I have an external Blu-Ray drive anyway) and used it to hold the 500GB HDD. This second drive I now use for storage and I upgraded the internal drive to a 1TB SSD.It's like a brand new laptop now. AMAZING.

Got caddy to work
Took some time to get caddy to be seen, but finally got it to work.

Poor quality
Pro: the hard drive is connectedCon: can't remove it because the spring lever and front cover both broke off immediately after installI would recommend getting something that has better quality.

Great add-on!
An excellent upgrade to my Dell Latitude e6520. Installed perfectly and they even give you a free screwdriver to secure the hard drive in the caddy. Blends in just like a factory add-on and if you want to go back to the DVD drive it only takes just a few seconds. Very good value for money.
