A sturdy toy and great for imagination play, but my issue is the smell!Yes, a pungent smell came from the first box I ordered and it smelt like damp.I couldn’t take the smell anymore and it polluted my whole downstairs so I sent the item back and replaced it.After two days the smell faded very slightly but it was sent back none the less.Anyway, the replacement arrived and it still has the same odour but much weaker.I don’t know why two of these toys have some a shocking smell.I rubbed mine with fresh lemon juice and water and it got most of the smell off.The toy is a lovely sturdy one, great for imaginary play and looks lovely.But by golly the smell!If you get this toy then I hope you don’t get a one that stinks as much as ours did.I’d recommend if you’re as unlucky as I was, then replace or return with Amazon or whomever you’re buying from because I’d hate to think of a child gnawing on this toy or even putting it in their mouths.

I was slightly disappointed just because I thought all the items would be in wood as advertised. The toaster and breads are beautifully made but the other items are made of cheap looking plastic which was a bummer. My advice would be to keep it all in wood if you are going to sell these items together.

I was really excited about this item as it matched my daughter’s play kitchen colour theme. Sadly the finishing was quite poor, some spots had been missed. For the price I paid this wasn’t acceptable so I returned it.

Amazing quality, fab colour and all round great product. I got this as an addition to my little girls play kitchen and she loves it. Very impressed with the quality

Lovely product goes with the kidkraft kitchen. The toaster does not pop up on its own which is shame and mine didnt come with the jam sticker on the jar
