Much better than my last one
I put this HDD in a network-attached storage (NAS) device. It works so much better than the last HDD that was in there because it's always on. For some reason, when the old HDD would spin down, the NAS would stop detecting it, meaning I had to reboot my NAS practically every time that I wanted to access it, and my torrents wouldn't seed properly. Getting a new NAS would have been more expensive and more time-consuming. I'm glad that this solution worked!

Junk - you get what you pay for...
Used this in my external docking station and backed-up 800GB of work projects from 2022-2025. It quit on me the next day. It won't fire up anymore. Thank God I still have everything backed up on another machine before I deleted. Redundancy, redundancy, redundancy!

Works Great in USB 3.0 External Enclosure
Arrived protected in double bags. Previous drive from another supplier was single bagged and arrived damaged. This one worked immediately after initializing with Windows 10 Disk Management, choosing NTFS and assigning a drive letter.
