Skullcandy XTplyo In-Ear Sport Earbuds with Mic, Plum/Pink

I need to start this review off with the fact that I have a Soulcker mp3. It can not for the life of me pick up Bluetooth headphones, no matter which ones I use. (I borrowed Bluetooth headphones from friends to test it with different brands.) It's possible that just mine personally is defective in this regard, but nonetheless, I need headphones with a jack. The mp3 works just fine in all other regards and I'm a cheap, broke college lass.So, since everyone and their mother is going Bluetooth only, I have a hard time finding good jack headphones with good sound quality, and if I do find them, they don't last longer than a month. I do NOT have the money for a 100$ or more pair, but all my options in-store and online shopping seemed to guarantee the fact that whatever I picked, would be faulty and just repeat failure.And then I came across these. I loved the look and color of the Teal/Green ones, and I'm a huge fan of Skullcandy merch in general, so I knew instantly that I'd have to risk this option, especially when the only real competitors were ones I'd tried in the past. And WOW, they did not disappoint me! Lovely sound quality, very comfy, with that extra piece that helps the buds stay in your ears, and worked fabulously! Along with the spare plastic buds, it comes with a removable clip to keep the cord close to your chest while working out or running! So far, they've held up, and I can't but feel they'll last a good long while.If these DO still hold up in January, I will update this review and will be buying a spare to have a backup, because it looks like these are no longer a running line. That honestly makes me very sad, because I'm sure prices will be going up for any newer models Skullcandy will come out with. SO BUY THEM BEFORE THEY'RE ALL GONE! Seriously, I can't believe I've never heard of them before! I could've been rocking out to jams while working on classwork so much sooner!BONUS: I've seen reviews talking about them falling apart or breaking, but usually this is from being placed in a bag or carrier of some sort loose in the pocket, and not wrapped up in a small but firm case. If this happens a lot or you travel a lot in some way or form, you need to buy or figure out some sort of case for the headphones. This WILL save you money and lengthen the life of your headphones. Even a tiny plastic clasp box will work, as long as it prevents the cords and buds from being caught from beneath folders, wallets, and other such objects! Remember, firm and solid, no fabric pouches, they won't properly protect them!Happy Dancing Folks! :D(11/24/2021)

These are the most durable and best earpbuds I have ever purchased and used. I bought my first pair July 17, 2018. I have used these earbuds at least once a day for the last 8 months. If I want to excape form reality, I put these on. If you want loud earbuds, these are them. They have great bass, I go hiking a lot, especially when it's raining or I'm sweating a lot. And these earbuds work so well. Not a single issue from moisture. These earbuds will help you lose your hearing. That's how my hearing got so destroyed. I recently was raking leaves and they were in my pocket. They most have fallen out while I was raking. So I lost them after 8 months of hard use. If you are careful and don't sleep on them, they will last as long as mine. The only that went wrong at around month 7. The rubber housing tore. So it dangled a little more. But this did not stop these from working.

Purchased based on reviews and water-resistant qualities, prefer the "earbud" that hand in the outer ear with foam covers, but tried these. The design really makes them hang in your ear well, has an extra rubber/silicone thing that curls in your outer ear to help keep them in place. Listen to them all day, one in one ear, so seldom use both. Big dogs hit the thing and they still hang in there and usually don't "pop out", great! Great design for letting you hear ambient sound even when you have them in your ear canal, fantastic design for that, can hear traffic, people talking, etc. and still hear the content to which I am listening. cord does not get tangled, great overall product, especially for the price. So far am very happy. Haven't really messed with the microphone as of yet, but am hoping for continued great use! If in doubt, try them. These are not "high dollar" things for "big base, so if that is what you are looking for, you probably won't be happy. Does good crisp base, but has excellent overall sound and is fantastic for audio books and reg music listening or podcasts! Thanks skull candy, great product and don't have to worry about sweat, rain, or working with them on, go right with you. The clip they give you really holds in there for the cord as well, perfect length for putting the cord over the neck and belt holster for the electronic device, going up to the ear, about 6 feet tall, so that will give you an idea of cord length, works out very well with activity.
