Probably the Best Lucid Sound has (ive owned all 3 tiers)
I may be a slight bit biased because this is my fourth pair and I'm extremely brand loyal to Lucid Sound.... but for a reason.THEY ARE AWESOME AND IF YOU ASK ME, THEY HAVE ALL THE BENEFITS OF THE PAIR THAT'S TWICE AS EXPENSIVE.. just to be clear imma compare these to the $30 tier wired pair and the $120 tier pro lucid sound blk/white that ive owned multiple of.Started my journey with the wired pair from Walmart. They look sleek so I said let's do it. They came in red and blue. I got my nephew, the red and my son and I the blue. For 30 bucks it was a great deal.Overall, they lasted my son and nephew almost a year, and they lasted me almost 2 years. The cable ultimately ended up getting effed up. When my headphones pooped out, they were maybe a year and a half old and were in pristine condition, but for some reason would not register when plugged into an Xbox controller.. you may think this is irrelevant but I'm telling you this because if you're considering the wired pair it's not a bad choice if you need to save the money, but this wireless set that I bought is top-tier.And I'm the perfect reviewer because I am coming from the $120 pair. I can't remember the exact name... the lucid sound heavy duties that come in black or white. So that pair was my absolute favorite and it would be two years now this summer.... if my dogs hadn't chewed them up last summer. Those $120 pair survived being chewed through both headphone pads and part of the frame and the microphone completely destroyed. Luckily, I still had a leftover microphone from the wired pair!!! And ear pads!!! so I made a Frankenstein device and taped the ear pads to the expensive lucid sound, and use the mic just fine. That being said after six months of every day use, I started feeling the degradation of the Taped pads. These headphones were on their last leg. They would last me like 2 to 3 days without charge. And I was using them all day every day. So that's like 36 hours of usage between charged. So that's when I came back to Amazon to see if I could afford a brand new $120 pair and that's when I found these for $60-65.NOW THE IMPORTANT AND RELEVANT PART:THIS IN CAPS LOCK IS ABOUT THE HEADPHONES THAT I CURRENTLY BOUGHT, THAT YOU WERE LOOKING AT... THEY ARE AWESOME AND IF YOU ASK ME, THEY HAVE ALL THE BENEFITS OF THE PAIR THAT'S TWICE AS EXPENSIVE. They get 90% as loud. (Plenty loud and i am the typa guy to listen to my music at 100% lol and i watch youtube and play xbox at about 75% max volume of these headphones just fine) They have 75% of the battery life of the heavy duties. So I would say that they last 24 hours straight because I charge them every 2 to 3 days and usually I literally listen to them about 12 hours a day so they might even be up to 36 hours of charge like they do have a good charge and they only take an hour or two to fully charge And you can listen to them while they're charging which is one of my favorite parts. And they have the exact same volume settings that on the left ear allows you to twist back-and-forth for master volume, and on the right ear allows you to twist back-and-forth between party chat and game chat so you don't have to go up in your Xbox settings. Love that. Tap the left ear to mute all sound. Tap the right ear to mute your mic. Hold the right ear to control/toggle microphone monitoring. There is also a button that you can change between three different sound settings, including bass boosted.I know this review might sound extra but this is this type of shid im looking for when reading reviews myself. The only benefit you're gonna get from spending twice as much money is a bit more luxury look, and the fact it's completely wireless no dongle.WHEN I BOUGHT THESE HEADPHONES, I DID NOT SEE THE DONGLE THAT IS AN OLD SCHOOL USB STICK. At first it pissed me off a little bit, but then I realized that my Xbox stay stationary so it literally doesn't matter and it provides a steady and INSTANT speed connection anyway.Bottom line save the money and buy these because they're more lightweight and they won't dent your head in as bad as the other heavy pair might. Then again the $120 pair is also very worth it. I'll never talk bad about lucid sound. They are my favorite midprice tier brand for headphones right now. (Elite tier in my opinion)

These are Great not Good
The only thing I don't like about these is the battery life is a little sus, the end. Seriously, I have A40's, SS 7X, tried TB's and HyperX. Even tried RIG 800's (so comfortable), but these are the ones I come back to and it's not even close.ProsThe volume is too loud all the way up, so no issues getting loud enough. They are very detailed in Warzone. There are a few sound modes to pick from (signature, flat, bass boost). They are pretty light, so no fatigue... even though I did buy Geekria linen pads, because the originals are thin and not the greatest. My party chat friends even prefered the mic on these over the A40's (I ran out of battery once and used the A40's while I was charging them, they noticed right away and complained I sounded weird). Great range on these - I have a bathroom nearby, a kitchen directly above me and they stay connected without loosing connection. The PRICE, they are super affordable at $79.99 usually. Best headset under $250 I've tried.ConsLike I said the battery life isn't the greatest, I'm slightly curious about durability in the long run (8 months so far so good), the orginal ear pads are not good and this is nit picky, but the mic doesn't fold up.

Every other manufacturer should take notes from this design.
UPDATE 9/23/25It getting close to 2-years and the headband leather is starting to fall apart but the ear pads are still going strong. The design of LucidSound on all their headset is the best in class. the button and rocker location simply makes sense where other companies fall short placing tiny rockers and mute buttons on back of the ear cup and sometimes even in the wrong orientation (Astro). This headset is acceptable, I bought for the price to test out, I was already familiar with LucidSound and ended up giving these to my 11 year old.Volume rocker on left ear, mute on left ear, self volume rocker on right ear, mic mute on right ear. Connects quickly when powering on and also automatically disconnects from computer upon power allowing computer to switch to alternate sound device. Battery life is more than acceptable and headset can be used while charging. Mic tip lights up with red light when muted. So many thought out features here.CONS (for those who care about sound quality in games and for music listening)The main here between the pre-amp and the drivers is that there's very limited frequency response especially on the high mid and high frequencies. You will notice this when trying to use EQ to brighten up the sound stage because out of the box it is a little muddy and for music listening or games where you would want to hear footsteps this are not so great. Bass response is generally very good but as soon as you start boosting frequencies on EQ the pre-amp is not capable to handle the boost and what you get is limited response in high and mid frequencies but then lose bass and other frequencies on sound stage. I wish the pre-amp and drivers would be more capable because the overall design approach on this headset what I would want to see from all manufacturers. The mic also starts randomly having buzzing noise, not sure why but this is random and that often.Overall it is an OK headset and I would recommend for kids and teens for the ease of use.

Debating wondering if I can return them still
Terrible oUnboxing. I had a model from this brand two years ago which I love. This pair just feels cheep. The box would t open well at all and needed up tearing into the box just to get these headphones out. And I kind of don’t want them anymore they just feel like junk compared tot he others fro this brand Who puts the open flap on the bottom of the product I just now noticed it. But really who does that
