Fantastic quality writing instrument
I've owned multiple Montblanc pens ranging from ballpoint, rollerball, fineliner, fountain pen. The Rouge et Noir BP is a heavier pen, and shorter, but fits well in my shirt pockets and writes fantastic due to the balance of the weight of the pen.

Compared to the othe pens in the collection, this particular one is small and difficult to grasp. Writing is smooth, but the grip is uncomfortable. It tires your hand quickly. However, the pen is beautiful, the materials impeccable, and I love the snake.
