I got what I wanted and on time

The tools are a good starter set for someone just getting started with upholstery. The staple lifter was too thick to get between the staple and the wood but I think that may be because the chairs I'm trying to reupholster are made with very hard wood and the staples don't lift easily. The rest of the tools are working well. I would recommend getting a brand name staple lifter (like Osborne) since that is the tool that you will use the most and if it it is too hard to get it under the staples you will be adding hours to your project. Still, a good price and value.

Very helpful collection of tools. But I solved the issue before the item arrived. Am grateful I could return this Amazon item at the nearby Kohl's! A great convenience!

Unfortunately, the staple remover is way too thick to get under staples when stripping furniture. Using the mallet doesn’t help - if you keep at it, you’ll damage your piece. The pliers are fine but just a regular set of pliers, nothing special for upholstery purposes. They mallet is fine

I wanted to reupholstered a french armchair without spending too much in tools. Overall the value of the kit is great. The hammer is worthless in my opinion but the other tools were very helpful.
