Works in my Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15ITL05Fairly easy to install and setup the new drive. You will need some small screws to put the drive in the provided cradle. In Windows 11 right-click the Windows logo and select disk management and you'll see the new disk there. Mine came up as drive 0. I just formatted the disk and assigned a drive letter to it. I may have formatted it on another machine and just assigned the drive letter.Very happy with the cable.

Perfect low-cost alternative
Works perfectly to connect 2.5" SSD as second internal drive for Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15ITL05. Need to open case from underside, remove battery and HDD holder to route HDD cable under battery. Then plug everything in and startup. In Win 11, only needed to Manage My Computer, enable drive, and assign drive letter. I've never worked on the internals of a laptop before, so I was nervous, but it went exceptionally well. Great price and Amazon's free shipping truly beat the stock part from Lenovo.

Allowed the addition of a 2TB SSD to the laptop
simple add-on that Lenovo didn't supply but had the space open. Just crack the case mount the connector to the drive, insert the cable on the MB , then but everything back together. 20 minutes start to finish for me.

15alc05 IdeaPad 5 compatible
Fit my board perfect and paired with a lexar SSD . The blue stuff stays on the cable and plugs in as it comes. Once the SSD is connected and you start it up you have to find the disk partition page where you can initialize the SSD or it won't show up in windows. It takes some work to find in the program but it's simple enough after that. Works like it should. Good bargain.

Works with Ideapad 5-15iTL
I recently purchased an Ideapad 5 (5-15iTL) with the plan of supplementing the 512Gb M2 drive with a 1Tb SSD I had lying around, but when I opened the laptop to install the drive, there was a tray to hold it, but no cable to connect it. The cable has to be fed under the battery (at least on my model), and plugged into the connector labeled JHHD (and the other end connected to the SSD, obviously), but it works perfectly.
