High price but worth it
Seems well built, was easy to install, and the kids love it.

Poor Construction
When assembling the slide the molded pieces did not line up well. A lot of force needed to be applied to the slide pieces just to get the bolts started. When attaching the base one of the two bolts would not catch. Even after the slide was completely assembled you can see that the slide molds are not aligned. The description says the slide weights 135 pounds so I thought this would be a very robust unit especially for the $1,100 price tag. This slide is weighs 20 pounds at most. The slide is very flimsy and seems rely heavily on 6 bolts that go into the ground for structural support.I notified SR Smith about the assembly issues and they said that one of their engineers would reach out to me to replace the defective parts. It’s been 2 weeks and no one has called me to help resolve the issue despite the emails assuring me that someone is going to help resolve the issues. At this point I have to return the slide because my return window with Amazon is almost up.I was hesitant to pay over $1,000 for a 4’ slide but I decided to spend the extra money to have a sturdy well built unit. I am extremely disappointed in the build quality and customer support. I would not recommend this slide to anyone.

Awesome slide!
This thing is awesome! Everyone who comes over to our house comments on how cool it is and that they want one. My five and seven year old daughters love it. My husband drilled it into the concrete on our shallow side (about 3 feet 6 inches deep) and it is very safe. I also go down it myself since I meet the weight requirements and it is fun for me as well.

Plenty sturdy, need a drift pin to align the holes for the long carriage bolts
Good product, works great for my 5 year old grandson as well as for lighter adults. Not sure why it cost so much, but was one of the cheaper slides I found

Very safe and durable!
Well made product, very easy to put together. Straight forward instructions. The color matches our patio perfectly! All we need is a visit from our grandchildren, and we’re all set!

Definitely a now go
Absolutely terrible for the price you pay. The holes don’t line up instructions are blurry hard to read the slide part itself is not very slippery. The only reason I’m keeping it is because my 4 year old is happy. Honestly it’s not worth it
