We bought plumbing pipe and sprayed it black. The fans move air and are very quiet.
Fans are quiet and air movement is good. We had to use plumbing pipe fora down rod since we couldn’t find one to fit

Low air flow
Easy to install but air flow is disappointing. When fan on high(1) speed the fan makes a whopping noise like is whipping the air. Our porch setting the noise is not desired. Fan seems to be build well.

doesn't work
first off if you need a longer pole it's hard to get and second the darn thing didn't work......! not worth buying and too expensive not to work
