The material from which these are made is quite thin - they are very light weight. The screw on lids make a secure fit. Note that these are not water-proof lids. Since they are flat top and bottom they do stack (but do slide around).I use mine to make sanding grit and polish for use on projects on my lathe (beeswax, oil, and pumice/trinity for the grit)

I have used these for many different storage applications and they work well. They are not super tough if you need a solid container, can bend easily with cover off but are water tight with a thin cardboard seal and keep dry items dry.

Two of the six containers arrived already dented. They are simply too flimsy. Refunded promptly.

These were purchased for small part storage containers. They arrived in an envelope with a small dent in one can (shown in the image). This did not affect the function of the canister. I was able to tap it out almost smooth with the rounded end of a screwdriver.Canisters close securely. These are not for liquids, there is no seal on the lid to prevent leaking.Aluminum is a little thin, but for the price point they are an excellent option.Canisters are not really stackable (they don't secure into place).I recommend for light duty purposes.

These tins are perfect for homemade items or foods. Mine will contain a formula for cleaning stains from the cooking surface of pots and pans.
