Deep penetration
These are great. Accurate, go far, deeep penetration.Depending on what you are shooting at (wood) the tips may not hold up, foam targets the cones may not hold up.Dont let the above mentioned discourage you grom buying these. These are great darts for the Slickmaster .625 blowgun. Very happy!!

Despite being wood, they will penetrate almost anything
These will easily penetrate household drywall, fabric furniture, mattresses, any kind of cloth, leather shoes or boots, wood paneling, MDF wood sheets, even thin metal cookie sheets. They are a lot sharper than you’d think they’d be, so be careful what you do with them.

Great for playing darts
These work great, and can even be used to play darts on a regular dart board. Instead of standing 8' back, just increase the distance to 16-24'. Lots of fun and more challenging the further you go back. Hitting the board is possible out to 45'+ with practice. They wear out fairly quickly, either by losing the tail cone or bending/fraying the tips, especially if you hit something solid. Good news is they are fairly inexpensive and you get quite a few in a package.

Great Practice Darts.
These darts are excellent for target practice. They have a nice flat trajectory and they fly very fast. They have pretty good penetrating power, but if you use a blowgun for hunting I would be wary about using them. You will need to resharpen them with a knife every so often. Also, depending on what type of target you are shooting (I use an archery bag) - they do have a tendency to bend after impact (after which you can't really use them again). However, skewers are cheap and you can save the cone and buy a bag of new skewers at your local grocery store.

36 of 50 darts are warped
The bamboo darts are as accurate as the shooter if the shafts are straight. Most were warped but heat the shaft with a good, hot hair dryer or an electric paint stripping gun being careful to avoid the cone. Once the shaft is hot bend it straight and hold until cool. As for the blunting of the tips, I dip the tips in thin CA. I'm a fan of all things Cold Steel. I own a 5ft single piece blowgun. I can hit a 3 inch circle at 10 meters about 70% of the time after I tweak the shafts. The problem with that is that I wind up hitting the cone on the darts that are already in the target rendering them usually useless. I always shoot a series of 10 darts. The darts are so cheap to buy that I don't find it a problem. Good luck fellow blowgunners!
