It was for our pool valves that are out in direct sun so the good quality was important

They leaked from the first day I put them in
Don't buy these they leaked immediately after installation (they won't shut completely off). Took me 3 hours to install them, then I had to replace them because they leaked badly so a 3 hour job took me 8 total.

Not for drinking water
Nowhere in the description did it say it was not for use with potable water. Receive the item and in big letters across the packaging it say for non-potable water only. That would have been nice to know and something you think would be mentioned in the listing somewhere.
