Any site that sells LEDs and Fiber Optics will sell them cheaply. Amazon is fine for both, and there are many others, such as Paragrafix. The problem isn't the supplies but the experience with wiring and model lighting, so it would be a good idea to watch Youtube videos on lighting models first.

Q: When installing the lighting system do i need to do any welding? or cable cutting? if so, what electrician tool do i need?

You need to do soldering and wire cutting/routing.
