ECOTRIC Lumbar Support Pad Compatible with Herman Miller Classic Aeron Chair Size B, Home Office Seating Support Pad - Graphite/Black

I purchased a used Herman Miller chair with a torn lumbar support and decided to replace it with this ECOTRIC pad. To my surprise, it feels and looks identical to the original part, yet it seems to be of even higher quality. After a year and a half of constant use, there are absolutely no signs of wear. This replacement exceeded my expectations and is a perfect fit for anyone needing a durable, reliable replacement.

Install is fine, and when it was working, it's okay I suppose. I didn't feel like it provided a ton of support but some support is better than none.I think see how little it took for this to split and break, I would not be able to recommend this item until the design is improved.Structurally, nothing keep this together beyond the foam itself. It really needs to have a solid core with foam added purely for comfort.Though the price is great, I would not recommend this part for actual use, it's more of a good cosmetic add-on in order to be able to say your Herman Miller Aeron is "fully loaded".

Bought this to replace a torn one on a chair I wanted to sell. Great price and fit just like the original when it was new. Also makes the chair more comfortable if you’ve had a broken or missing one.

My original Aeron lumbar support broke (in half I think) so I ordered a knock-off from Amazon. That one lasted maybe 6 months and was always slipping - finally it broke as well. I'm surprised that these tend to crack and split down the middle.So I bought this Ecotric version and I slip the grips over the guide rail on the chair and push down and immediately hear a cracking sound. 3 of the rings just snapped off. I thought I was being careful, but apparently you can't be too careful. I put it on the rest of the way and it seems to be holding in place. Yeah it slips up and down a bit, but I think it will last at least 6 months so I'm not going to bother trying to return it. I need to work on my posture and shouldn't be putting a ton of pressure on this anyway.

I have the Aeron Remastered in mineral, and I had the Posturefit SL. I found that the pads cut into my back even on the lowest setting, causing discomfort. I couldn't find a remastered version of the lumbar support, so I thought I would give this a try. The lumbar support fits perfectly, and the smoke gray color looks nice with the mineral chair.

Broken within a month of use. Can't process the return. This is much lower quality than other aftermarket pads. The last one lasted me 2 years! Not this one.

It fits the chair and makes it look 'complete' but that's about all I can say. It doesn't really offer any support or comfort to the Aeron classic. The stiff foam is cracking where the mounting snaps are embedded. I would not buy again.If you're looking to improve an older classic Aeron, I'd suggest getting the tilt limiter/forward tilt kit instead.
