Can the door be set to open from the left side?

It comes fully assembled, just as the picture shows. I suppose that one can unscrew the 2 set of hinges, and switch it to the left side. However, there are small screw holes hide by caulk and paint touch up.

What is the table top diameter- there are two different descriptions? Can someone verify the correct diameter?

17 1/2" I bought the lighter wood color and it's very nice.
