Must have for your FAA written for Instrument
If you are having trouble visualizing the correct holding pattern entry for your FAA written Instrument or CFII test, this is a must have device. I was constantly getting it right only on direct entry questions. This "computer" is allowed during the test and makes it easy to get it right every time. It is now in my flight bag when not flying glass panel aircraft.

Essential Learning Tool
This is the greatest thing ever invented for learning IFR holding pattern entries. It orients you from the perspective of the aircraft's heading and therefore simulates your HSI. In 10 minutes, I was able to intuitively grasp how to enter holds. This device is worth its weight in gold.

Simple and Works - Allowed for FAA Exams
Its simple and just works. It is also allowed to bring into FAA exams as an allowable aide.

Two dials to make this work - the inside dial often binds on the outer dial - making it hard to turn without bending the card. Otherwise pretty gd
