Is this the same as the 2oz face moisturizer?

Yes! There is no difference except for the bottle size. The 2oz is our travel size and the only size that has the Lavender scent. Both the 8.5 oz and 2 oz contain the same ingredients. Both sizes are face-quality moisturizers and can be used on other parts of the body. The formula was created as a high-quality face lotion; however, we believe all your skin (your largest organ) deserves only the finest and most rejuvenating and nourishing ingredients.

could this company please exchange raspberry seed oil (high omega 6/bad oil) with Squalane oil? It would make such a difference!!!

There is no USDA organic Squalene available, meaning the process to make it may not be clean or contain a solvent not approved for organic products. When examining omega fatty acids examining the ratio between omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids is essential for optimal health, the proportion of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids in raspberry seed oil is favorable for nutrition and skin. Both omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids are essential structural components of cell membranes. Raspberry seed oil contains an exceptionally high proportion of essential fatty acids (EFAs), omega-3 and omega-6. Generally, most oils comprise between 50 and 60 percent EFAs, but raspberry seed oil contains up to 83 percent EFAs, boosting the skin’s ability to regenerate. It also helps skin hold onto moisture, keeping it smooth and plump and helping to reduce signs of aging, like sagging skin and fine lines and wrinkles. Raspberry seed oil is high in vitamins E and A, which target signs of aging. These vitamins help prevent free radical damage to the skin, which helps reduce or eliminate loss of elasticity, wrinkles, and age spots or sun damage. Squalane does not contain vitamins E and A. What is the shelf life for an unopened bottle?

Hello! Great question! There is a PAO symbol (period after opening) and a number on each label. The number with the PAO symbol reveals how many months the product lasts after it is opened. We formulate for skin life, not for shelf life. The code stamp on the bottom of the bottle is the lot number. Hope this helps!
