FELCOFELCO322 Model 322 Snips, Red

After using the same snips that had been gifted to me about 20 years ago, this year I finally decided to get a new pair. Felco came highly recommended by friends who are also accomplished gardeners, so I took their advice and bought them. The first thing I noticed is how well they fit my hands, and how little effort it took to to use them. They are lightweight and very sharp, which makes them excellent for cutting roses. Due to their streamlined design they’re useful for clipping the stems inside of plants with compact growing habits, and great for deadheading spent blooms. This is a quality tool that I expect will last a long time with proper care, and well worth the price.

Carbon blades with a chromium coating seem like a step up from what everybody else is doing.The carbon blades can be harder and hold an edge better than stainless, while the chromium gives it some protection. OTOH, if you don't take care of your tools, it's more likely to corrode.Does cost more, but I'd rather have a long lasting pruning snips that does the job well.

These are the BEST snips I have ever had. They cut SO smoothly and are perfect for cutting back my zinnias and other flowers. They make cutting so much easier and are so light!!! I also like the fact I do not have to put my hand into the ends like scissors. I wish I would have bought these many years ago. I would HIGHLY recommend. They would be great as a gift for any garden enthusiast.

No company beats Felco for pruning shears, so I'd hoped the nippers would be as satisfying to work with. Not disappointed at all! Lightweight, nice blade and a pleasure to use. Definitely would recommend! Five stars! For the price they can't be beat!

These are just the handiest and quickest little pruners, very well made and sharp, very useful!

Great long set of blades easily reach the right cut point in dense foliage. Spring separator eases the cutting of multiple snips. The rubber end fastener does a great job on closing the snips for storage.Why only 4 stars? It's easy to get your thumb pinched between the pads which eventually left me with a blood blister. Lesson learned, I haven't pinched it since but be careful.

Been using one pair of Felco pruners for over 40 years now and they are still going strong. I bought these snips only because they are made by Felco and it definitely shows. These are fairly substantial snips, nice long, sharp blades and they are very comfortable to hold and use. Buy these and you will be glad you did.

I have been using Felco pruners for about 38 years. I still have my first pair. I needed a good pruner for roses and fine pruning work. I take care of about 60 knockout roses. I was using another brand found in the box stores, they just did not have the strength I was used to from my Felco-2 pruners. These 322 pruners are now my favorite! I started using them in the vegetable garden too. I purchased the double case from felco and love it!! My one objection is the locking device. I wish felco would make it like the other pruners. The plastic locking device gets in the way. Felco please fix this. Other than that I will be buying these as gifts for friends and family. If your looking for a pruner that will get into tight places, this is what you want! Nice quality built pruners that you can use all day long with a clean cut every time. Very well built and comfortable! Strongly recommend these pruners.
