I was initially apprehensive that this unit would leak but to my surprise it fits onto the Karcher hose firmly with no leaks and releases easily albeit requires a strong pull.

It works at a fraction of the cost
Got this to be able to attach my old hose to the new one. It works perfectly at a fraction of the cost of the original one. Not much to say, it works as intended and after 6 months of use, no signs of damage or wear.

It was a little tight to get off, but I put a small amount of dishwashing liquid on the o-ring and no leaks and no problem removing.
