Great Case
Pilot traveling a lot....I mean A LOT. I was looking for a strong and durable suitcase and boy am I happy with this one. It's waterproof which some of the knockoffs are only water resistant....big difference. The capacity is perfect for enough clothes and supplies for a two week trip. All of the latching mechanisms are great and really hold well. Negative pressure valve built-in too, so these engineers were really thinking hard on this one. Warranty on the whole thing for life too so I'm a huge fan now. Plus, it has that tactical feel and appearance which doesn't hurt. No need to tie a red string on the handle either....I'm the only one with this handsome case at the baggage claim.Overall and after several months of travel using it I'd buy it all over again. Highly recommended for anyone.

Best box for deployments
This case is great. I’m a military contractor and I’ve been on 10 tours over seas in the roughest parts of the world and this case has protected everything I send in it. It has a great warranty and has never broke on me compared to all the Lowe’s and Home Depot boxes I have bought in the past. Buy it you won’t regret it. By the time you buy 6 cheap ones that break on one trip you would have paid what this thing cost. Worth every penny and it is light compared to other pelicans.

Great cases, pricey but worth it if you need them.
I just received these and they are outstanding, as expected from Pelican. They are much lighter than a normal Pelican this size and they seem just as sturdy. I haven't actually tried to see what it takes to break them, nor do I plan on it, but I can stand on it without it breaking. These are pricey, but if you need to protect something even more expensive while you fly, or store something expensive, these are a good way to go. There was a note inside of the cases about using desiccant, which I didn't think about when I purchased them. If it is short term I think you will be okay, but if you are going to use one of these to store something long term they would probably be a good idea.

Perfect checked luggage.
I used one of these and a 1510 for a cross country trip. Pelicans are great as luggage. The 1615 held a week of clothes for 2 people and still came in under the 50lb checked limit. The 1510 was used as a carry on and held all fragile and valuable items. The 1615 survived the TSA and the baggage "handlers" just fine. Scuffs and scrapes, but everything inside was perfectly protected. Seeing the baggage cart sitting in the rain while waiting to be loaded didn't concern me at all. Other people looked worried, but not me. I knew my stuff would be dry no matter how long it sat.

Light, durable and protection, all in one case.
I've been working my way through the various dive bags over the past few years and always had issues with handles breaking and delicate items getting crushed by indifferent baggage handlers. This case resolved the issue. I can fit a drysuit, backplate, wing, a pair of jet fins, primary reel, numerous spools, wetnotes, booties etc all into the case and be under 23kg. I wish the cases were available in Asia at a reasonable price as I would buy a second one.

Easy to bring 1 bag with plenty of stuff
I am the one in my family that has to carry the stuff. With this case I can fit as much as the airline will allow, pack it all in and if I really need more space between me and my wife then we are taking to much, really and truly to much.My wife wanted LV bags and was VERY upset when this arrived, she said it was ugly and etc etc, after one trip she loves it. We can both pack our clothes and she can then pack in all her accessories, once we close the lid neither of us have to worry about anything breaking or bursting or what ever. She can actually bring all the stuff she wants to bring and not have to worry about leaving something behind while trying to cram stuff into two smaller bags. The arm that extends to pull it with does not feel bullet proof it is bendy but I have not have any issue with it not doing what its supposed to do.

Happy With Pelican
This is my first Pelican Air Case although I have five other Pelican cases of various sizes. Because of Pelican's quality I decided it was time to "lighten my load" and I ordered the Air model. I am very satisfied with my new case and I appreciate the lighter weight. If it holds up as well as my other Pelican cases I will be very happy. If it doesn't, the Pelican guarantee can't be beat. It is a win-win as far as I am concerned. The case arrived on time and in good condition. I would (and probably will) purchase from this supplier again.Update: One of my Pelican Cases (1650) which I bought in 1995 came up missing the pressure relief valve during my last trip. I contacted Pelican and a new, replacement part arrived today. No Charge. I knew when I bought my first case in 1994 that Pelican was a winner. I highly recommend their cases and their dive flashlights, too.

Delivery says handed to resident.... No one is home... But the product is amazing.
I recieved a message just now saying the case was delivered and handed directly to a resident. No one will even be home for another 5 hours. The delivery guys need to do a better job of taking a picture infront of my door or what ever. I had another product that was delivered to the building next door and it said left in my mail room.... Packages are not left in a mail room, they are left at our doors. But it wasnt at either location. I told Amazon it was not there and they promptly sent me another one until it was found 2 days later. So I appreciate Amazon's response to that situation. I will update this review when I get home but either way, who ever this product was left with, was not me.Update:Product was left at the door per normal so I am happy with that. Amazon does need to do a better job with their delivery confirmations though. For the product:I am extremely happy with it. New and improved Pelican case. The exact measurements allowed for flight 62" max size and sooooo much lighter than original Pelican cases. The structure is amazingly strong still. I actually stood and bounced on it just for fun to see strength. As former military I can tell you when I take this overseas, it'll be able to ship in the mail or fly with and will be able to handle anything we toss at it. I'm about to order another one!
