I use VH Nutrition’s Cissus Quadrangularis to keep both of my shoulders comfortable and on the mend. I had rotator cuff surgery two years ago on my right shoulder and I am currently doing an at home exercise program after the cause of a painful left shoulder was diagnosed as fraying of the supraspinatus tendon. (Too many years pushing myself hard in the construction business!)Studies suggest that cissus may relax shoulder muscles and also plays a part in bone and tendon maintenance and repairs. I take two easy-to-swallow tablets each morning upon awakening since some studies show cissus is better absorbed before a meal. Cissus has also been reported to increase serotonin levels.Many brands offer a 1000 mg dose, but VH’s cissus provided 1400 mgs per two-capsule dose which is closer to the higher dosage range used in some studies. However, effects have also been seen at doses as low as 600 mgs/day, so if you respond to less, you can try one 700 mg capsule and double the number of doses per bottle.The only downside is that I prefer to take supplements that have a standardized amount of active ingredient—in this case, ketosteroids, but a leading online supplement databank suggests 2.8 % ketosteroids per 300-600 mgs, so with a 1400 mg dose from a company I trust, I’m guessing I am probably getting enough ketosteroids.

I was taking some other supplements for joint pains in my hips and shoulders that my doctor had recommended. I decided to give these a try, as the others didn't really seem to help very much. I have been MUCH more satisfied with these! I had tried the Kava Kava capsukes from the same company, and absolutely love how much they have helped with my stress and well being. The Cissus capsules have been just as beneficial for my shoulder, hip, and even my back pain. Quite pleasantly surprised, and look forward to trying more of their products in the future!

I had zero issues with this product. Started taking it after watching Thomas Delauer on YouTube recommend for stiffness.

I've taken this product for 2 weeks and haven't seen any effect. It might take longer. I had better results (e.g. less appetite) when in was a component of a supplement for menopause. I'll check after a month of using it. Hope it helps.

Could be just filler, because nothing happened or changed, but I didn't die.

Like that this product does not contain ingredients that may cause allergic reactions such as shellfish and MSM.Work relatively quickly when compared to other joint supplements I tried.Just started taking this and so far getting some relieve of my joint pains, will continue and hope this improves my joint health long-term.

Very happy with the product especially for joint pain. I’ve had wrist pain and felt a drastic improvement after a bottle of consistent use. Will continue using as part of my daily regimen moving forward
