Q: will this work with the 18v brushless trimmer?

No, that is what I wanted it for. It has a different thread.

Q: Could I use this head to replace b-60143 head?

Yes! I bought this trimmer head to replace the one on my Makita RBC321, which uses the discontinued b-60143, and it worked well! I did, however, have to use one of the included adapters so that this trimmer head would fit on my trimmer, but that was not difficult to install.

Q: Does this work on RBC251?

Yes it does. I recently replaced mine...a simple replacement.
