Very Happy!
This Vevor chamber vacuum machine arrived at my door after only two days. I bought this from Amazon because Vevor doesn’t appear to offer an extended warranty. And an extended warranty is a must because the Vevor is made in China and there ARE negative reviews of this product. The box arrived in great condition. No sign of damage. Unboxing was easy with my wife’s help. There was no sign of damage to the machine. It came with 2 different screwdrivers, a spare Teflon heat tape, spare heating element, oil, and instructions. The instruction book was very thin and y informative. Nowhere did it explain that the vacuum pump oil needed to be installed. Fortunately for me, my research pointed out that adding the oil is necessary. My research had shown me photos of nasty lookin brown colored oil and other buyers had reported that the oil smelled rancid. Well, the oil that I received was clear in color and had no smell whatsoever. So I used it. I removed the six screws, removed the cover plate, unscrewed the filler and added the oil using a funnel borrowed from our kitchen. Then I put the cover plate back on, and replaced the screws after checking to see that all the wires and connections seemed secure. Here’s my initial impression of this Vevor DZ-260 C vacuum sealer: First… it is built like a brick outhouse! If you don’t know what I mean by that, it’s built very well indeed. Solid food grade stainless steel throughout. Almost no plastic. Clearly built to last. The lid is made of some kind of clear thick acrylic material. And the chamber is deep enough to handle a whole chicken or large roast. However, a rack of ribs or other large item would need to be cut up.Today, I marinated chicken breasts using the Vevor and am now sous viding them for dinner. Compared to a Food Saver, well there’s no comparison at all! I put the seasoned chicken in the bag, added olive oil 2 tablespoons worth, closed the lid and 45 seconds later I had a sealed bag ready to be sous vided. Amazing! No fuss, no muss! With the Food Saver, there would have been fuss AND muss! Not to mention a lot more time. So, right now, I’m a happy camper.UPDATE: 12/11/24 After several months of use, I am STILL happy with this chamber vacuum sealer from Vevor. It is a beast, successfully sealing everything I've thrown at it. I have gone through about 300 8"x12" bags sealing everything from soup to briskit. Sealing liquids like soup is a breeze... just DO make sure that the liquid is chilled; otherwise, as I discovered, the liquid can boil out of the bag making a mess. I thought 90 F liquids would be cool enough. I was wrong so take the time to chill the liquid first! That was the only glitch; otherwise it works flawlessly, and sealing whole chickens and roasts are easy.

Excellent value, love the product
The media could not be loaded. A friend bought an industry leading brand chamber vacuum sealer a little over a year ago and ever since I've seen it in operation i loved it. My small plastic vacuum sealer overheats after a few minutes and I always have to wait for it to cool down. The price of the brand she bought was a major obstacle though - i just could not see myself spending that amount of money on a vacuum sealer, no matter how good it is.My cheap plastic sealer recently finally gave up and I've been looking online for chamber vacuum sealers at an affordable price. I found some, but there's always a compromise on size, suction power out feature set. We immigrated into the US is yes ago and we often process 50-100 lbs of meat into sausage we cannot buy locally, shared between 3 or 4 families.I was very excited when I saw this sealer with all the same features of the expensive one at half the cost. It seemed too good to be true - often a red flag, but all the reviews i read confirmed this is what I was looking for. I ordered the sealer and i couldn't be happier. It does not come with any bags, so immediate testing to confirm proper operation is not possible unless you order bags separately beforehand. It requires a different bag type from the cheaper external sealers. The unit comes with vacuum pump oil which you need to fill the vacuum pump with before operation. It seems like enough oil is included for the initial fill and one replacement. A simplistic manual is included to explain the pretty easy operation. It starts up by itself when the lid is pushed down and it is capable of sealing liquid rich foods to marinate or store soup. It has a spacer plate at the bottomto raise thinner packages, which can be removed to accommodate larger items. A metal bar holds the bag edge in place so it does not twist or fold when you let go to close the lid.The lid is released upon completion and it raises in a controlled fashion, unlike the expensive brand which pops up without any damping. The amount of suction is set with a timer, as is the heating time to seal bags and the cool down time during which compression on the sealed edge is maintained. A harder, tighter vacuum can be achieved by raising the vacuum timer. It is quite amazing to see water starting to boil at room temperature as the vacuum increases at higher settings. This is an industrial design machine, which will not overheat but it is bulky and fairly heavy, not exactly a portable unit at 59.6 lbs, although about 20 lbs less than the pricier brand. Everything inside seems quite serviceable with discrete components which could be replaced if something gives out, but by all accounts this seems like an unnecessary concern. I would want to repair rather than replace at this price of it comes to that.A spare sealing element and teflon ribbon is included as well, which can also be found online and is pretty inexpensive.I would buy this again, though I very much doubt it would ever be necessary.

Don't buy this product!!!!!
I bought this machine in October 2024. Machine was well packaged and come with all accessories that were described in specifications.I removed the machine from packaging, read the instructions and filled the vacuum pump with oil. I plugged the machine in and the breaker/power switch on the side would not turn the machine on. Apparently it was a dud.I called customer service and they sent me another one and I sent this one back. I followed the same process except while I was putting oil in the pump to the fill line and noticed that the pump wasn't fastened down and one of the screws were missing. I fixed that problem. I plugged the machine in and was experiencing the same power problem with the power switch. ( just so you know, I had 50lbs of ground deer burger to seal). After flipping the power switch many times it finally turned on. I vacuum sealed the backstraps and the tenderloins. After this when I tried to seal the burger it would go through the process but nothing was happening as far as the vacuum. By this time I am fuming. I called and got the return process started. Customer service was helpful but after 2 failed attempts with this machine, I am getting my money back and I will be looking for a different brand.
