Q: is this the same product as the via packets? French

Not sure if it is like french, I had columbian, french and Italian. Italian is my favorite and the canned coffee is not like italian. French, columbian and the canned I consider to be about the same.

Q: What is the flavor? I buy French and Italian dark roast instant packs, this is dark roast....dark roast at sams club is horrible, so tell me more ple

This is a great dark roast, but it doesn’t have the smokiness that I associate with French Roast. I bought this originally so that I could make a quick hot cups of coffee in the afternoons. I was re-heating leftover brewed coffee but it just didn’t taste fresh. I ended up liking this instant so much that I have a cup of it most mornings instead of brewing a pot that I won’t finish.

Q: The label says it has both instant coffee and microground coffee as ingredients. Is the microground coffee unfiltered?

Yes it’s unfiltered. However, even though trace residue are left in the bottom of cup, the coffee is excellent.

Q: is this the same as VIA

This product is MUCH better than the blonde Via that I tried once, which, to me, was awful. Despite both being blonde roasts, the flavors are nothing alike.
