Solid built, quality components
Review for the 8” KSV voice coil version. Connected my music via BT and adjusted my iPhone EQ to the dance setting. The BPA8 is very loud and clear, vocals were clear, highs were crisp and well dispersed. I attached a set of 10” Sony powered subwoofers via the XLR line out jack to get a little more low end punch. The BPA8 low end sounds good on its own but if you want a little more kick at higher volume add a powered sub. I positioned the setup in the corner of a 40 ft x 100 ft banquet room and it was loud enough for background and line dance music with volume a little past half.

Best quality speaker on Amazon under $100
I bought this to use mostly as a drum amp for my electric drum set (only can listen through headphones otherwise) after trying a couple of other brands sold here on Amazon. I was honestly getting a little discouraged as my budget wasn't gonna support spending over $100 and the other brands I tried were terrible quality, even for the more expensive products. When I stumbled across the Rockville PA speaker (which seems to be the best kind for electric drums AND multi-use), I was a bit apprehensive, but after looking into the company and a lot of reviews & YouTube videos, I decided to try it out.I love that you can EQ bass & treble and all the different kinds of inputs, both qualities being perfect for music gigs! The sound is amazing quality and it's a very good & sleek style. Also the fact that it has the little light-up logo when it's on is a cool touch. All in all, I am extremely happy with it and I think I will have it for a long, long time!

Sound OK, but not good for a floor monitor.
Great features and sound, but with their shape they cannot function as a wedge floor monitor. Pictures were unclear on this. Would be good on speaker stands. Very loud for its size!

Way More Than Expected - Awesome
I have gotten back in the music business in a much smaller way. I needed a good portable sound system. Had an old system and used this speaker for a monitor. I was very impressed and bought 2 more. I use these as my mains with the Rockville 10 inch subs and one for a monitor. The sound was excellent. Great speakers at a great price. Would not hesitate to buy these again. The subs round out the system big time for music. They are worth the investment. Now a couple of months into using these speakers. In clubs and outdoor events. Just finished an event outdoors and my vocalist and I were so thrilled with the rich quailty. Clubs can have thier limits with poor acoustics, but always sound goods, outside yesterday was truly amazing. Rockville Rocks!

Beat my expectations - You get a lot for the money
The media could not be loaded. I have to say I am impressed. For the price I didnt expect much, but I have to say whoa! The sound quality is crisp and meets my needs. You have a Treble and Bass knob on the back for fine tuning. The speaker has good midrange so you only need to adjust Treb & Bass for the sound you want. Plus on the remote you have different EQ presets.Build quality is average. Solid, no rattle or squeeks. Good balance between weight vs materials. Manual is easy to follow.Remote - The buttons on the remote are small. They are the plastic bubble style. You have to avoid pressing them with your finger nail so they wont crack or break over time.Volume to spare. Using this to play music and backing tracks for my guitar and does a hell of a job. Keeps up with my tube amp no problem.Odd thing to point out, but I was impressed with how the Rockville plate on the front is LED illuminated. Little things like that add to the cool factor lol

Rockville comes up short
I'm a DJ and a musician in a band. I've owned Rockville products in the past, and have been very satisfied with them. The BPA8 falls short of what I've come to expect from Rockville. The sound quality is considerably weaker than the Alto TX208, which is the same price. I bought both of these to use as a monitor in my band. The Alto hands down outperforms the Rockville when connected using an audio cable. Clearer highs and a more solid and less muddy low end. As other reviewers have mentioned, the BPA8 exhibits considerable noise when using the Bluetooth feature. I also could hear slight distortion from both the high and low frequency drivers at only moderate volume levels using the cable connection, which indicates to me a problem with the amplifier. It's not all bad. The build quality is pretty good. The hand hold on the top seems to be ergonomically designed. The controls all operate as they should. And the pole mount locking screw seems to be sturdy enough. But, the most important aspect of a speaker is its sound quality, and the Rockville just doesn't quite measure up. I returned the Rockville and kept the Alto.

Satisfied
I'm satisfied with the product. It is loud enough and has good sound. Bluetooth was easy to set up. The size is right and not too heavy. The remote did not work, but after I contacted the seller, I will be sent another remote.
