The listing shows the 4” puller to have a 2-3/8” reach so the 2-9/16” is actually more. If you are needing a longer reach, you may want to try a larger size

Q: Can I use this to remove a wheel bearing and hub from a 2013 Chevy Malibu?

These are junk, order a real set and you should be fine. These fell apart removing a steering wheel from a golf cart so I imagine you'll have the same luck.
