My favorite watercolors
I've bought fancier paints and yet I keep coming back to this set of paints. I love them.

super chalky- rubs and cracks off the page when dry :(
These are matte, and bright, but they are so chalky they rub right off the paper and even CRACK off and pop off the paper in chunks when they are dry. I am surprised- I was sure the Yasutomo quality would ensure a better product. I would instead recommend the Angora sets- they are matte and even in thick applications, they don't crack or pop off the page. They aren't as bright, but with little white gouache, you can get a huge range of jewel and pastel colors from that set, as well.
