Terrific Ink
This is by far my favorite Noodler's Ink that I use and own. I started with the black and spread out to many other colors. It's a small bottle, sure, but it hits all the points of being on paper forever, forgery proof, and waterproof. If I'm going to use a fountain pen, I might as well make it as secure as possible! This ink is a perfect middle of the road blue to me (maybe that's why the fish is driving a car or is it a luxury?). It's not too dark of a blue unlike my despised Quink Black-Blue. It does not feather on cheap note-pad paper, copy paper, or even thicker, almost card-stock paper that I've used it on. Minimal ink bleeds through on even the cheapy paper so you can use it for note taking and such. It's good enough to use in business settings too for any documents to fill out or sign.It behaves pretty well - I've tried it in fine nibs and medium ones and it always flows well. Yes, all Noodler's has insane nib creep but I don't care. It hast to literally be the ONLY shortcoming of this ink and it's a visual issue, nothing with using the ink or its properties. If you want a blue that'll go on forever, buy this.

No out, dam spot!
Ink isn't expensive enough? One gets a paltry serving of 1 Oz. of ink for somewhere in theneighborhood of $13.50 here on Amazon. Whether it is cheaper elsewhere may be mootif one discounts with Amazon Prime. The inks' greatest attribute is it's waterproofness. Used it on various papers–copy paperto ClaireFontaine–submerged it in water for a day. Held up like a champ. The blueness appeals to me as I prefer lighter inks over darker ones.Would be excellent to use to address envelopes that may be subject to downpoursduring carrier delivery and of course for checks or legal documents/signatures.Ink flow is really good in a medium nib Pelikan. Drying time is fast; very little to no smudging. Not a lefty, but I can see it being well behaved for them.Again the cost (especially coming from Noodlers, which usually gives great value), seems high.I guess if one saves the ink for those occasions when it is more necessary, it shouldlast for quite a time and the value would be obvious.

Rich shade of blue ink
Noodler is a quality product and their range of rich colors for fountain pens makes writing a pleasurable experience. Use fountain pens for journal writing and only fill them with Noodler's ink.

Great Ink!
Noodlers inks.. While not "bulletproof" it's water proof. It's a joy to use in my Lamy Safari fountain pen. Depending on the paper you use, it stays in the range of a robins egg of blue hues. I like it very much, the only little thing is that until it's fully dry, it will smudge. which is a small price for such a nice flowing, very striking color of ink. I have also learned that for the "opps" that happen from time to time, common ammonia is the solvent to use for clean up, and apparently, to flush your fountain pen, followed by a warm water and soap bath.

Too Dry
This WAS my "go to" ink for a long time. I like blue ink, rather than the standard black, and if I'm going to use a fountain pen then I'm going to use a truly waterproof ink, which Luxury Blue is. You can put a sheet of paper covered in Luxury Blue ink under a spigot of water and the ink will not move from the page. It won't smear or run, let alone wash away. The writing is absolutely permanent.HOWEVER, after using this ink for some years, I had to admit to myself that Luxury Blue, like a lot of Noodler's waterproof and "bulletproof" inks, just doesn't flow well. One of the primary benefits — perhaps the primary benefit — of writing with a fountain pen is that it should require no more than the weight of the pen itself on the paper to make an impression. Writing with a fountain pen should be one of the easiest, smoothest and most effortless writing experience of any pen you could use, a pure, effortless extension of your hand, as they say. It should certainly require none of the effort required to write with, say for example, a ballpoint pen. If you must press a fountain pen to the paper then something is wrong. And this was my problem with Luxury Blue. As much as I liked the appearance and total waterproof quality of Luxury Blue, it was just too hard to write with, using a wide variety of fountain pens, from those costing dozens of dollars to, well, much more expensive pens. Add to this the expense of Luxury Blue, and I knew I had to find something else.I have since moved to Nollder's Eel Black. It has the easy writing quality one should expect from a fountain pen ink, and it also possesses the complete waterproof quality I require. (What's the point of an ink that will flow away from a drop of water?) However, I miss the blue color. So, in short, I like Luxury Blue. It is pretty and it is certainly waterproof, but it is just too hard to write with when using a fountain pen, so as much I wanted to like it and continue to use it, it is just too "dry" of an ink for me. I'll give it 3/5 because it does a lot of what it's supposed to do, but I feel like I'm being generous.

I use this in my edc for verification purposes
As its a bulletproof UV visible ink it truly is impossible to fake so I sign all my importing documents with it due to one it being a fountain pen (Unmistakable) 2 its TOTALLY PERMANENT and has a UV signature under a up light especially 365NM UV light it shines like crazy

Great USA made product
Smooth, non-clogging, lovely 'luxury' feel. I have rediscovered the joy of penmanship with this ink. I use it in a slim Sheaffer pen because Sheaffer have stopped making the refill cartridges. Now I wouldnt switch back to ink cartridges. This is a lighter blue color than I anticipated but I have grown to like it. Highly recommended.
