Failed after about 1.5 years and 20,000 miles
When it worked, it worked as expected. The sensor shorted out internally and was reporting 4.1v back to the ECU at all times. It would cause the car to shut down on the highway and not restart, or just not start at all when it permanently failed in that 4.1v condition.I only got a year and a half of use out of it. Meanwhile I've had a cheap stock GM 3 bar sensor on another car last me over a decade. If you buy one of these, buy two and keep it in your glovebox with a screwdriver to swap it out.
