VERY pleasantly surprised!
I ordered this six-pack set of HEM incense solely because of the brand's positive reviews on Amazon and elsewhere online. Even so, I was skeptical. The order arrived quickly and in very good condition. Each 20-stick pack was securely packaged, first in a thin plastic wrap, then a sturdy cardboard tube, and finally a six-sided paperboard box which identified the scent of the sticks inside. I'm pretty picky about the incense I spend my money on and have stuck to the same two or three brands for years. I was aware of the HEM brand but had never tried it, but at this price I figured I couldn't go wrong. I am SO glad I ordered them. I waited to write this review until I had a chance to try all six scents and I've been extremely pleased with every one. I prefer a bigger, longer burning stick but for the price these are more than adequate. My only complaint? I'm having trouble deciding which scent I like the most!

Great Variety Pack!
Bought these incense sticks since the ones at my local store aren't the best and wanted to get a variety pack. These are quality incense sticks made in India and their burn quality and scent are exceptional! They burn for a good amount of time and the whole room is filled with such a good smell! In my opinion, I would rank the individual scents in this order.1. Sandal - Exactly what you think Indian incense should smell like, the real deal2. Dragons Blood - This one really energizes me and smells fantastic!3. Patchouli - A very clean scent and pleasant4. White Sage - Great for purifying and getting rid of bad smells or energy5. Cedar - This one I didn't like as much, smells like rubber. You might be into that?6. Opium - This one was the worst of the pack. Gives me a slight headache. Not enjoyable to be aroundFor the price, I think you can't go wrong. 5 stars and will definitely get more from this brand of incense sticks!

Great Bargain, Scents True to the Labels
Each of these scents has some great qualities! I did receive lavender instead of the "Sandal", and cannot burn lavender. The seller fixed the issue, but it is the reason for four stars - if you don't want lavender, this might have it in there. If you're not picky, then here's what I thought of the rest:White Sage: It isn't the same as burning plain white sage, because it's incense. Resins and woods have to be used in order to make it a stick, and that's going to be true of all of these. But it does seem to be most pronounced in the White Sage. If you're used to burning it in a "smudge stick" or similar, this will smell slightly different. But you still get a lot of the sage. (Generally used for emotional, spiritual, or mental cleansing - if you're into that)Opium: Kind of sweet but a little spicy, Opium incense contains several compounds thought to help bring sleep and calm. It has hints of Dragon's Blood and Sandalwood. (Use to calm panic or aid sleep. May also help stimulate discussion in a group. Again, you can also just like how it smells.)Patchouli is earthy and pungent. like the oil. It's great for general use in making your space smell nice, and for relaxation. Patchoui is also said to help calm nervous situations. The Cedar is fresh and woodsy. It smells like you'd expect cedar to smell - high notes of fresh lumber and middle notes similar to spruce. When burned, it's a little reminiscent of a campfire. Definitely good for relaxation, but maybe not if you plan to sleep. The scent of burning wood might be alarming if you wake and aren't expecting it.Dragon's Blood: This tree resin is interesting in that it doesn't offer any scent until burned. Unlike Frankincense resin, it smells like rocks until is is heated in some way. While this incense definitely has some scent in the package, the light, woodsy dragon's blood doesn't come through until you burn it. It has notes similar to sandalwood, with earthy, perfumey middle notes. Each stick burned for about half an hour in the area where I have my burner. Mine is out of the way of much air flow, so the scent stays in the room where I use it. If yours is set up differently, the burn time may be altered, but it's pretty much "normal".The quality of the scents is nice. Even though they came in the same package, each scent is boxed as shown, and wrapped in sealed plastic so the scents do not mix during storage or shipping. For storage at home, I suggest a glass jar. I found out the hard way that if you stick incense in a drawer with other "stuff", the other stuff, say your favorite white sweater, might take several washings before it can be worn. Even with that, the odor lingers - it's just not too offensive to wear. From my experience, the Opium smells like Opium should. It's the only "blend" here, though all incense sticks will be blended with woods and resins so they burn. I just point it out because it's disappointing when the blends aren't what you're expecting as different companies make different blends. The individual scents are also true to what they should smell like based on my experience.I use incense daily, during meditation, to help me sleep, and because I like the scent. I've bought from head shops, housewares stores, and flea markets. Cheap as it seems in those places, it was far less pricey to buy in bulk here, and I'm happy with the product. Unless I find it handmade at a craft fair, this is where I'll turn when I run out!

Only tried two, but Cedar scent is iffy
I’m the type of person that loves a good candle, but the cost of them adds up over time and I wanted something that was more earth and natural smelling, so I decided to try incense sticks for the first time as an adult. My mother used to light them when I was young, but stopped for some reason. I’ve only opened two packages so far (Cedar and Opium). I prefer Opium between the two because once Cedar finished burning it reminds me of 😚🍃 and that’s not a smell I prefer to have around me so strongly. I have a sensitive nose so I had to stop using it, but my roommate likes the smell so I gave it to her. Hopefully the other scents aren’t too bad and I don’t have to give anymore away

Smells lovely
I love buying incense on Amazon. The cost breakdown per item cannot be beat, especially if you make sure to buy from a reputable seller. I’ve previously bought one package of this brand each at one of those kiosks in the mall for $3 each. What a rip off.HEM incense is definitely my favorite because of the long burn time and the beautiful scent quality. One incense stick is enough for your whole home to smell lovely.I haven’t tried all the scents in this particular set yet, but so far the sandalwood, cedar, and white sage all smell amazing. I typically buy sandalwood in bulk but wanted to try other scents. I’m glad I did.

HEM brand incense great product
I love incense and I burn through them quick. This pack came with a huge assortment of scents and they are good burn and scent quality. I like to use incense after I sage, the pack I bought came with cedar and sandalwood. My favorite daily scent is probably opium, but they are all very nice. I will definitely purchase again.
