What is the smallest canvas this easel can accommodate?

The smallest I've ever used was 8"x10", but It will hold as small of a canvas as you care to use. It also comfortably handles 48"x48" canvases too.

Is there an english PDF for the chinese instruction manual included with the shipment?

I didn’t get any instructions! My husband had to look at the picture and put it together that way because I couldn’t even find a digital pdf and they never answered my email. But it wasn’t hard to put together and it came very well packaged.

Can this easel be used in a 8 foot ceiling studio?

How tall is the easel when layed flat to paint?

It’s a perfect 34” when completely flat. I’m a mixed media artist and I am in love with this easel. I looked for a good while and this one is the best I’ve found for the price. It has all the flexibility I need and is really sturdy. I’m sure there are those that might think a $500 easel is necessary, but I can’t image why!
