Q: I can't get this lamp to charge. How do I know if the lamp is turned on before charging when there is no on or off label?

My switch is to the left near chain when charging. If there’s any charge on it at all bring it into a dark room to see if it’s charged . This is my second year using it.

Different lamp . My solar has a hanging chain.

I have no idea but on the brightest level this little lamp gives off a tremendous amount of light

I don’t always have the solar light in bright or direct sunlight. Sometimes it’s cloudy and even raining ( although I try not to put it in the rain often). I use it on the low setting for about 8 continuous hours per day and the longest it lasted was 24 hours. I think your light would get enough sun if it were exposed to indirect light for as long as the sun was shining, but that is definitely not based on first hand experience.
