I find 65 lb paper a new blade, and a lightweight mat. And machine cut as light as possible. I use the light cardstick setting on my cricut

I finally have learned...use the least setting possible - with a new blade when doing intricate cuts. So on this 65 lb I used light cardstock. I also understand there is an intricate cutting setting - but sorry haven’t found yet....also when removing take the left over piece off first leaving the detail piece in the mat. To remove the detail piece- bend the mat starting at one end (like an upside down u) then work the mat gently lifting the lacy piece. Good luck and enjoy the wedding.

Black licorice paper

The paper is nice for the value. The first pack I bought was perfect but this pack is different cuts. As you can see on my 12x12 mat the paper is crooked. As I was laying it down cutting it I just thought it was me but no. I checked about 7 sheets out of this pack they all were like this. Keep in mind if need to use full sheet or even sides.
