Good battery
It was deleted in a box ready to go. Installed and the motor cycle fired right up. The last battery I had was the same vender and lastes 16 years. Value for the money.

Excellent cranking amps
I tested this battery upon arrival with a Solar battery tester, measured over 300 cca. It is rated for 180cca. Cannot rate longevity yet, but will update in future. Made in the USA.

or this Deka as the most recommended choices for a bike that comes with a weak ...
I can't state anything regarding longevity, however this has solved the starting issues I've been having on my Triumph. The Triumph comes stock with a Yuasa TYX12-BS, and after a 3 years, the bike was becoming very slow to crank and caused for concern. So I preemptively replaced the Yuasa with a TMS of the same model. Right out of the gate, the bike cranked even slower than it did with the old Yuasa. I left the TMS in for a few months until it actually began having problems starting unless constantly left on a battery tender. So, I did some research, and came up with Motobatt, Odyssey, or this Deka as the most recommended choices for a bike that comes with a weak stock battery. In my bike, the Odyssey would have to be modified to fit - and it cost nearly twice as much as the Deka - so that one was counted out. I ended up choosing the Deka over the Motobatt, largely because they clearly state that they are manufactured by East-Penn, where I couldn't find the manufacturer of the Motobatt. This battery has about 30 (15%) more cranking amps than the Yuasa it replaced, and that became CLEARLY evident when it was installed! My bike now cranks over the starter quicker than it ever has before. This battery is about 5/8" shorter than the stock Yuasa, and does NOT come with any shims. Thankfully, that was easy to compensate for on my application. The terminals on this battery are very large -- the downside of this is that any stock shroud meant to cover the positive terminal is unlikely to work with this battery. On the other hand, the large terminal is easy to clamp on to for use with a battery tender, jumper cables, or whatever else. The terminals are capable of being used as either top or side mount (or both if you have a second set of screws handy).

I just installed this battery into my Suzuki DL650 Vstrom - fits real nice - I just need to to turn the cable on the bike 90 degree - but there was plenty of room to make the connections. I've have a lot of experience with the Vstrom - and the starter characteristics. No doubt, this battery is turning the bike over faster than I have ever noticed before - lots of CCA capacity here! Big bonus (for me) is the Deka is made in USA - in fact even in my home state of Pennsylvania. I paid some more dollars compared to knock-off AGM design - but I know I've got a quality product here that won't leave me stranded.

Battery Did Not Fit Unreturnable
This battery did not fit in the space allotted in my ATV. Amazon would not let me return it because it is hazardous waste.
