it is for a small, 6" swing lathe
I have an older Atlas Clausing 6"X10" lathe. It came with a rocker style tool holder. The rocker broke, and I needed to finish some parts, so I bought this as a stopgap. Now I think I will leave it on, because the bits are bigger than the standard tool holder

Non-Ferrous Material composition - buy a steel tool holder instead.
Initially this tool holder seemed like a great purchase at the price, but it was quickly discovered that it is simply not made for everyday use. the threads on the tool holders themselves ( for me the cutoff tool holder ) strip out fairly easily. Everything besides the screws on this piece seems to be a sintered or maybe die cast pot metal. I was machining pewter at initial testing so it was great. I moved to some steel and it was terrible. The tool post was literally flexing like a spring. Went ahead and bit the bullet on a steel tool holder.Great for plastics and non ferrous materials.Terrible for steels. Definitely get what you pay for with this one! :'D

havent performed repeatability test yet
I bought this for my sieg c3 harbor freight lathe. It sure looks a lot more useful than the one that came with my machine. Its nice to be able to change inserts on my carbide tooling and be within .010 or less. for the money you cant go wrong with this set. I had to make a custom bolt for the main cam part the one that came with it was too short. I'm looking forward to giving it a try out soon. You will want to probably pull the cam buttons out and clean the dried out looking grease like mine had on the O rings and add some fresh ring lube or grease around the cam mechanism. Mine had what appeared to be a bead blasted finish on the parts that rub together that I didn't like.

it works good
I bought this for my Harbor Freight Mini Lathe, fits perfect, it works great, gave 4 stars because the handle is weak, be careful not to man handle the Handle, it uses a Grub screw as a stud to hold it to the hub, the grub screw is pretty weak and will break if you put to much pressure on it , I will probably make a new steel handle for it, other than that, it works good, adjustable height is good and the bit mounts hold pretty good, it does make changing bits a lot easier, but you might want to do some mods to your own preferences.
