A fine replacement for an old car radio... With some effort.
The product build is just fine, especially for the cheap price. I bought this to replace the radio volume dial on an old Kenwood car receiver (KDC-BT555U). This did not fit for two reasons, but I made it work. First, the metal clip inside was too large to allow the D shaped dial to fit into it - and there was not another metal clip that had been left behind by the original part. The other issue I encountered was the four supporting fins that connect the inner female part of this dial to the radio: The sides of the dial are almost flush with the part of the dial that accepts the D dial from the radio, and the fins were stopping the product from sliding onto the radio dial deep enough. So, I removed the clip with a metal hook tool I had laying around (small flathead wouldn't do it. Need something with a sharp curved point). Next, I used the flat tip of my wire strippers to bite away at the fins bit by bit until I was able to slide it a tiny amount more than 1/4" onto the radio dial. I then... Filled the hole with gorilla glue and stuck this product onto my radio D dial and let it dry for about an hour.Works great! 5 stars because I'm pretty sure I got the sizing wrong, not the seller. No idea how the little hooks work and in retrospect this may have simply not been the product for the job.

Great quality knobs.
The knobs are great quality but they did not fit the car stereo i wanted to but them on. I still figure out away to install with some adhesive glue.

Works good, once you know what to do
Needed to replace a pair of missing 2nd row knobs in our 08 Suburban (thanks kids). Ordered these due to the cheap price and in spite of the mixed reviews. Would seem pretty straightforward to install, but without instructions or even troubleshooting info included I was thinking about returning them because I couldn’t get them installed. Went to the product page on Amazon looking for instructions and found none. Then went browsing in the review section and found an insightful one from the person on the 08 Yukon. Specifically about the metal piece inside the spot where the post inserts on the vehicle. I followed the same process of pulling out that metal piece and was going to proceed with the use of extreme force to put the knobs on after putting the metal parts on the post first. As I began the metal piece installation, I noticed that the posts already looked as if they had that same metal piece already on them. That was indeed the case. Seems as if when my old knobs came off their metal pieces remained. I removed the old metal pieces and placed the new ones on. Then placed the new knobs on over them and it required not much force. Would’ve given 5 stars if this info/instructions would have been supplied by the manufacturer/seller. Hopefully the combination of the Yukon person and my experience helps someone else.

Fits 08 Yukon with persuasion
Ordered these for the rear radio controls for my 2008 GMC Yukon as these were the cheapest listing on amazon. Right out of the package I tried to install but only ended up pressing the metal insert further into the knob and could not get the knobs seated on to the little stud that they slide onto. Since they pressed in the knob I had to use a pic and tiny flat head screwdriver to pull the inserts out of the knobs. I then installed the inserts onto the studs of the rear radio control, then proceeded to push the knobs onto the studs that I installed in inserts onto. With a lot of force they finally slid on. For the price you get what you pay for here. They work as they should, the outer rubber is loose but oh well, We will probably never use the rear radio controls. I just wanted to replace the missing buttons for cosmetic looks. For 5.99 these will do

Fits Well
I purchased this for my GMC Acadia, I had missing button in the back middle console and needed a replacement. The color matches, it appears the same as the other buttons. This is a great fit, wasn't hard to install at all just pushed in and done.
