ROCKWELL RAZORS 6S Shave Kit, Matte Stainless Steel Razor, Shave Cream, Faux-Badger Brush and Blades

Has everything you'd need to start shaving, and seems of good quality.The blades and handle work well for me. The cream smells like classic barber shop and works for my sensitive skin.The finish on the gunmetal handle I got sometimes looks a little dirty after I shave, but it cleans up alright. The stainless steel version would probably be more durable finish wise, but this will still likely be perfectly usable for decades.I like the adjustability of this system which allowed me to start mild and then increase blade angle until I found my sweet spot.I don't have other brushes to compare but this one feels nice and works well for me.

I've tried all of the various cartridge razors before this, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to try a safety razor that uses plain steel blades. Update - After trying the plates, I'm really happy with the 2/4 plate for this razor. I can make the 1st pass on 4, then use 2 for the 2nd pass and get a really good BBS shave.Also, this is my first time trying a shaving brush. This brush is soft, and does an excellent job lathering. I'm using way less of the shaving cream than I expected.The razor is clearly solid, and is much heavier than the Harry's razor, or any other cartridge I've ever used. The handle is shorter than what I'm used to, at about 3-1/4", but turns out to be just the right length for dealing with the various ways I needed to hold this kind of razor to shave.The shaving cream that comes with this kit is definitely the right stuff for shaving this way. It lubricates well, lathers well, and smells pretty good.Since the kit didn't come with a blade bank, I've ordered one (also from amazon - the price here is better than the price on Rockwell's webpage). It should be here before I need to dispose of a used blade.Overall - Glad I found this kit. It's a keeper.PS - I'm still keeping my Harry's cartridge razor for travel. I don't like checking a bag for overnight business trips, and you're not allowed to take these razor blades through TSA at the airport.

This was my first safety razor, as I had gotten sick of the cost and waste of cartridges. I'd tried switching from the big G to Harold's razors, but those were even worse, so I said enough is enough and went with the classic safety razor.After doing research and being between 3 choices (this, the German one, and the Henny one, I decided to go for Rockwell due to its adjustable nature and reviews. I think I made the right choice.Starting out on the lowest setting to get used to the change from cartridges, I've quickly moved on to the right size for my hair type. Changing sizes and blades is as easy as unscrewing the head and dropping them in.The move from gel shaving cream to shaving soap and brush has also been amazing. I wish I would have switched years ago because this has become more of an experience than a chore.Overall in extremely happy with this razor, though the blades aren't the best so you may want to buy a sample pack to find what's best for you. Still, I'm happy.

It seems like a nice razor. But, it DOES NOT come with a 4 month supply of blades as stated. It comes with the 5 blades you would get in the normal 6C razor package. I ended up returning and ordering the razor alone. If you want it because of the brush and lather, go for it but don't buy it if you expect the extra blades.

Great stainless steel razor! Buttery smooth shave. Brush lathers well. Shaving soap smells good. Highly recommend. Also check out their website for deals. I also bought Feather razor blades to use with this razor as others recommended.

I cannot speak highly enough about this kit. The razor is easy to use, heavy enough to make shaving a breeze, protective enough to make it hard to cut yourself-yet you are still able to get a shave closer than any disposable junk. It looks great to boot, a perfect razor for any true gentleman.

The product description (currently) states that the set includes 20 extra razor blades and a blade bank, but those had not been included.

I wasn't satsified with the product. I enjoyed the handle of the razors, but felt that these were expensive, difficult to use, and cut the skin. I will not order again.
